We don't turn down new customers, we welcome them. We are able to keep enough capacity to allow us to maintain a very low caller to line ratio that allows you to get on line when you want with no busy signals.
We use only most up to date state of the art equipment, all digital, no modems! While our competition is still touting 33.6 Kbps analog modems or 56 KFlex modems, we completely bypassed those antiquated technologies and went straight to Cisco AS5200 digital servers, and before most of them even thought about 56 K modems. We are the only 100% local call 56K digital access provider covering the Northern Neck, Middle Peninsula and Hampton Roads, as well as 43 other points throughout the mid Atlantic states.
We are the only ISP in the region that provides our own Web Mail interface, allowing you to send and receive your e-mail from your own account from any machine that is connected to the Internet, anywhere in the world, securely and within our system. Others use some other unreliable third party e-mail system that may or may not work.

The focus of our efforts since the beginning has been to provide a service of high quality and reliability at a reasonable price. We are connected to the global Internet by dual full duplex T-3 SMDS fiber optic circuits, backed by multiple hot spare T-1 circuits with automatic fallover. Our state of the art NOC is backed up by a 7 kW UPS and a 20 kW automatic natural gas fired generator. This enables us to provide you with the fastest, most reliable connection to the Internet available today, even during power outages. While others try to claim it, we simply do it! Also, with over 19 servers in operation 24 hours a day, we have the reliability that others simply can't provide with single servers that just can't do the job. In short, our servers just don't go down!

Our vision sees the Internet as a significant tool with the ability to extend and enhance both business and personal communications. It has been our belief that the ability of the Internet to fulfill this potential will be directly related to the experience that users have with it - if their experiences are favorable, their confidence in the Internet will grow and this will encourage more usage and participation in the system.

Since we are a truly regional ISP, we cover a large geographic area. Unlike others, we don't FX in some long-distance lines to one overloaded central POP site, we provide independent POP sites in all of our various coverage areas.
