iMac / OS 8.5 Internet Setup Assistant
1. Locate the 'Assistants' folder on
your hard drive.
Open it, and double-click on the Internet
Setup Assistant icon.
2. Click the 'Yes' button.
3. Click the 'Yes' button.
4. Click the right arrow button.
5. Type "Eagles Nest"
and click the right arrow button.
6. Click the right arrow button.
7. The phone number is your
local access
number
Your user ID is your Eagles
Nest/Crosslink username
Type in your password in the space
provided.
When you are finished, click the right
arrow button.
8. Select
No and click the right arrow button.
9. Select
No and click the right arrow button.

On the first line of the large box,
type 206.246.64.1 and hit return.
On the second line of the large
box, type 207.199.128.1
When you are finished, click the right
arrow button.

Your e-mail address is your username@crosslink.net.
Enter your password in the space provided
When you are finished, click the right
arrow button.
12. Your email account is your
username@pop.crosslink.net.
The email host is smtp.crosslink.net.
(SMTP server)
When you are finished, click the right
arrow button.

Your Newsgroup Host is news.crosslink.net.
(NNTP server)
When you are finished, click the right
arrow button.
14. Click
No.
When you are finished, click the right
arrow button.
Click the 'Go Ahead' button and
your Macintosh will be ready for the Internet
