Explanation of Terms URL Type This is what a user would use to get to your site. Having your own domain name adds a certain amount of prestige, and is much easier for a client or user to remember.  CGI Access CGI scripts or programs are used to make your site more dynamic, facilitate communications or more.  Eagles Nest scripts include a simple forms handling script and hit counters for your site and more. They can be used to add a wide range of features including a web based message board, chat room, or calendaring.  Disk Space This is the amount of disk space on the server you have to store all of the documents that make up your web site. In the case of HTML and graphics, you would be surprised just how small they are. In most cases a few megabytes is all that is needed to run a medium size site. When you start adding sounds, large graphics or downloadable programs the size can grow quickly.  Server Side Includes Server side includes (SSI) are the way that you run a program when a user sees your page. For example, if you want to run a script to display a random greeting to the user, you would use a server side include to run the script.  Transfer Quota This is the amount of information that can be downloaded from your site in any given month. For example if all the HTML files and graphics that make up your home page totals 50K in file size, under the Corporate Lite + plan, your page could be accessed about 1,000,000 times. That's over 3 times per second every second of every day. If you go over this quota, don't worry, we won't cut you off, additional megabytes over your transfer quota are $2.00 a megabyte..  Usage Stats This is where you see how much of your transfer quota you have used this and past months.  Platforms For most users, this is not important. If you are an advanced user, have special needs, or if you are migrating a site from one server to another it can make a difference. For instance, under Windows NT you can use CGI's written specifically for the NT platform.
